Steve
has 25 years experience in Analytical chemistry with an in-depth knowledge
of petroleum, polymer and petrochemical analysis and chemical plant operation.
From 1974 to 1992 he was employed by British Petroleum Research.
From 1974 to 1985 he was GROUP LEADER/COMPANY EXPERT on Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography
and specialised in the analysis of polymers.
From 1985 to 1988 he was TEAM LEADER on Sorption and Thermal Analysis
and was responsible for leading 13 scientists in the development and application
of techniques for measuring a diverse range of chemical and physical parameters
(lubricants, synthetic polymers and chemicals).
From 1988 to 1992 he operated under three concurrent roles for BP
Research :-
---SENIOR TEAM LEADER (Liquid Chromatography)
---ANALYTICAL CO-ORDINATOR (BP Chemicals)
---DEPUTY BRANCH MANAGER (Spectroscopy and Separations)
From 1992 to the present date he operated as an INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT
CHEMIST for APC Limited.
He specialises in consultancy analysis for determining
trace contamination in all Petroleum and chemical products.
