Malcolm Drury
A Director of the company (established in 1992).
40 years in the oil industry, representing BP Oil on a number of panels, providing advice to BP and BP Partners on matters to do with refining processes, quality control in manufacturing and transportation, and as advisor to the trading floor at BP Oil. From 1964 to 1987 he was employed by British Petroleum Group of companies.
From 1964 to 1969 he was employed as a Research Chemist at the BP Research Centre. From 1969 to 1977 he was employed in the Transport Service and Project Branches of the Supply Department as Technical Advisor. From 1977 to 1986 he was employed in the Quality Control Branch as Technical Advisor. From 1986 to 1987 he was employed as Sole Quality Advisor and Claims Representative for BP Shipping, Product/Crude Oil Traders and Air BP.
From 1987 to 1991 Malcolm was employed as Manager of the Saybolt Loss Control/Quality Assurance Department and General Manager for SIMCO Marine Services.
From 1991 to 2002 he was employed as Advisor to the Oil Trading International Department of BP Oil International, advising on Crude Oil and product quality matters, investigation of marine losses and quality contaminations. He also advised BP Shipping on tank cleaning preparations and investigations of third party terminals for assessing quantity and quality integrity.
Malcolm is a Director of APC Ltd and, since January 2003, has been employed by APC as a Consultant Chemist.
